The Colvins // Chicago

I photographed these two in their apartment before they pack up and move. As I went through these images afterwards, my heart felt so full knowing that one day, their children, and grandchildren will not only be able to see pictures of them in their young married life, but also, in one of their first homes together. Family History done through photographs is an important kind to me. If you ever want to do this, please tell me, and I will gladly help you preserve some memories in your place of refuge.

My friend Rachel // Part II

Rachel is my new friend here in Chicago. I asked her if I could take pictures of her in her adorable home. Rachel is a pretty adorable homemaker if I must say so myself, she would never say so, which makes you love her all the more. Before I came over she was making some bread to go into the oven. I asked if she would wait until I got there so I could take a few pictures of it. We plan to do another shoot with the finished product.

Here is to Rachel.

The Smiths: Famiy Lifestyle shoot

I got to tell you, I really  enjoyed this shoot. It was so laid back and pretty. Ashlee and Collin have such an amazing apartment, and they are both so creative and talented (spent two seconds in their home to figure that out). I love their space, and I am happy they wanted me to do a lifestyle family shoot. It was a pleasure. I also am obsessed with their son, and his adorable smile and big lips. My goodness. Here are some of my favorite images.
