Excused for Birch House
I haven't been posting lately! My apologies dear blog, but I have been very busy! With good things! Birch House has been completely consuming me this week. We finished our beautiful cards just in time for the Holidays and the Kinfolk dinner we just photographed! Which is worthy of its own post coming soon.
If you would like to learn more about our card options please go to BirchHouse.com and go to the cards tab. We would love your support, as this is our first official project! They are fine art printed, hand stamped, handmade boxes or burlap envelopes, and if you get the box set, you also get some artisan bee's wax from Sarah Winward (who harvests her own honey). There is also an antique key in each box that works pretty great as a wax seal.
"Its beginning to look a lot..."
"...like Christmas!". I love this time of year, and i will even take the cold with with it. I love bundling up, and I dont know why, but cold air feels so clean to me. Crisp. I like that. While Brittany (my Birch House counterpart), was in town, we had her snap a few photos for our Christmas card. I dont want to spoil the goods, so here is me and Annie, getting ready for Blakey for our first Family Christmas Card. We are ordering them from Pinholepress.com who is really great.

I was laughing the entire time I was with these two! They are adorable and you can tell he makes her laugh so much. It also happened to be an amazingly warm day here in Chicago, thank goodness for picture miracles.
