At any occasion.
Presidents weekend post coming soon.
Dear Paul McCartney, thank you for writing this song.
Take a little walk, when the worst is to come.
Dear Utah: Just because I am slightly mad at you for snowing us all in this weekend, I think your pretty. Your mountains are are blessing to my eyes, and if I wasn't trying to go out of town, I would like the brisk air. Music: I have listened to Band of Horses all day today.
So take it as a song or a lesson to learn
And sometime soon be better than you were
If you say you're gonna go, then be careful
And watch how you treat every living soul
If you have an itch, scratch it.
At some point in our lives, if not always, we all seem to be looking for something. Whenever I travel I meet many people from all over the world, and many of them seem to be chasing butterflies. The kind of butterflies that once caught, and put in a jar, they no longer fly, and therefore can no longer be chased. This is when the jar is put down and we slowly walk away. Then before we know it a butterfly flies into our view and we are off again.
Bad or good, I am not always certain. But sometimes, I chase butterflies, and other times I get the itch to fly- so I do.
That’s when it gets really good. That’s when you end up in the outback, swatting bugs, driving through croc territory, sweating from every pore- then jumping into heaven sent plunge pools. Your swinging through the oldest jungles, meeting amazing people from all over, waking up to the sound of bird mayhem, hiking to the top of your sorrows and eventually laying your head on the golden shores of what seems like heaven. This is when you say to yourself, “forget chasing butterflies, I like flying”.
We'll pick berries and recline.
Drawing of the Day: By my student Karl

Thought number one: Parent teacher conferences are coming up. I actually am really excited to conference with parents at the parent teacher conferences that they have for parents and teachers to confer about the students, because thats what teachers and parents do at parent teacher conferences.
Thought number two: For the past week I have had conversations about technology with people. What this guy says pretty much sums it up. Everything is amazing, and nobody is happy.
Thought number three: Here's to Valentines surprises.
I am listening to this beautiful song.
