Brother Brock in town, and our dog is crazy.
My brother in law, Brock, came to visit from NY for easter. I am so glad he used his little time off to come spend time with us. He is a ER Doctor (something I could never do), and is very, very busy. Because he has been in NY since I have been with Blake, i haven't had a ton of time with him. He is so great, and I once again am reminded how lucky I am to have married into Blake's family (does anyone love their in laws like I do? Not sure).
So we went to the beach by our house one afternoon. To say Annie is excitable would be an understatement. She keeps us on our toes.
Here is a roll of Kodak Portra 400 I took that day with my Minolta.
Beautiful film = no editing for me.
Chicago // Epic Burger // Ohio Beach
We love this place. Luckily there is one around the corner from us. Such a good burger, in fact, I may call it Epic.
Now for the biggest news of our winter... its finally calming down. This whole week has been in the 40s and sometimes the 50s and I seriously have had a 180 in motivation and mood. Starting a few days ago, I haven't put on any gloves, or a hat, and sometimes not even a coat. You heard that right, NOT EVEN A COAT.
With summer right around the corner, I cant help but start planning in my head all the wonderful trips we will be taking. Its funny, because I feel like I have done quite a bit of foreign travel in my day, but somehow its made me appreciate what we have right in our own country more. Dont get me wrong, I love seeing a new culture, and feeling like I am in another world. But this summer, we will be doing a lot of US travel, and lots and lots of camping, because nothing makes me happier.

Mother-Daughter // Arizona
I love these two ladies with all my heart. My sister and her sweet angel daughter Taytum. I really wish I lived closer to them all the time. Being far from family can be really hard.
On another note. I love shooting film, but I also love my Mark II. I will probably shoot with both for ever. When I am a grandma and do nothing but take pictures of Blake in his rocking chair, and my grand children on the beach, I will still probably shoot both digital and film. But dear film- lets try not being so expensive so I can just shoot with you all day everyday- guilt free.
