Over a year ago I went to Africa on a humanitarian trip, and today, for some random reason I missed it a lot. While I was on that trip, I don't think my thoughts about my life have ever been more clear and peaceful. It was emotional, of course, but my perspective was one I am envious of now.
As for today, my niece told me that she likes when I call her Tater Tot. I asked if she liked it when I called her Tater toot, she laughed and said "yeah that is fun". Then she asked me if I would like to be called Amy Day, then she grinned ear to ear and said, "that is a good-nice name, Amy Day".
